Plastic profiles in the caravan production

The production of caravan and recreational vehicles involves first the assembly of the walls, floor and roof multilayer panels on the vehicle frame, followed by the internal furnishings, windows’ frames, accessories and equipment. The roof and floor panels are generally built in fiberglass on an aluminum layer, while the walls are made up of a multilayer structure in aluminum and polyurethane foam.

All these materials must be resistant to UV rays, different weather conditions and wear.

❶ Gaskets

- Linear gaskets applicable on various surfaces in contact with each other, used for doors, garage, hatches, windows

- Produced in co-extruded PVC to obtain an external soft part welded with a semi-rigid base on which the adhesive is positioned

- High quality of the materials used, to ensure long life and excellent resistance to different weather conditions

- Soft part made of Etilgum, a modified PVC that maintains elasticity at very low temperatures.

❷ Protection profiles

❸ Drain Rain

- PVC profiles with section designed to perform the drip function

- positioned above the windows and doors they pipe the water and drain it to dedicated points, preventing it from being unloaded inside the caravan

- available in various sections in black, gray, or white colors, can be made on customized design

- coupled with double-sided adhesive tape, have high strength and avoid long fastening operations (no holes needed)

- Welded with aluminium foil between PVC and high-seal adhesive.

❹ Antislip
